Completed.. Finally!

We've finally finished our Experimental piece and managed to burn it to discs without any major issues :)
Hopefully the presentation will go okay.
There's parts of the piece that i really like (and really enjoyed making) but there are also things which i would definately do differently had i had the extra time.
I thoroughly enjoyed creating the clown and mask segments and think they look fantasticly creepy, Emma was great to allow us to cover her in facepaint and make her go infront of the camera, it wouldnt have worked aas well without her.
I wish we'd been able to secure the recording of the insects and creepy crawlies section at the exotic pet shop as we'd planned (although some of the ones we did manage to include were thankfully Jess' family pets in York), although luckily Martine had agreed that this was fine.
I dont like the look of the cemetry shots we took, on the day because it was so cold and we were having battery issues, we rushed the shots slightly, and im not sure the day for night shooting and colour correction worked as well as we'd have liked in order to make it appear that we'd shot it at night.
I also think it would have worked a lot better had we had the audio interview idea earlier on in our development stage as we could have matched all the images to the audio rather than matching as much of the audio to the images, and i think we would have realised we needed more variety in interviewee voices sooner which the project would have benefitted from.
Other than that it was a fun piece to create, one which id been initially quite uncomfortable about doing (purely due to how open the brief was), which has taught me a lot of different things related to both production processes and the experimental genre in general.
