More Kitchen Brainstorming
Ive had a little more of a brainstorm on the kitchen front, with Alex's idea of a domestic dispute in mind, it seems to be coming together a little bit. The words ive added are just a few quick ideas as Alex is hopefully going to be creating a script over the weekend.

Binaural Technique
Ive looked into the Binaural Technique today, where when you wear headphones it actually sounds as though you're in the place that the sounds have been recorded, there's a particularly good binaural barbers piece on youtube:
It would've been in interesting way to go with the bus idea had we worked out some kind of way to not record noises we didnt want. Not quite sure how we could incorporate it into our kitchen idea..

Youtube Kitchen Sounds
Ive been on youtube and found some clips relating to kitchen sounds:
This one has a good range of different kitchen sounds, i like how theyve layered the sounds to make a slightly musical track. Its a nice simple idea that might work if either myself or Alex were at all musical. Ive discussed this with Alex and unfortunately we're not, neither of us want to do anything relying on rhythm specifically.. but i have a few extra sound ideas from it.
If we were to do a musical rhythmic theme, lots of people have seen 'Stomp!' so this would be what we'd be competing against.
Another kitchen sounds clip, this one recorded in a more domestic kitchen but again on a layering musical theme. Some more sound ideas again though.

Dan Lander - Failed Suicide
Failed Suicide (1991)
Since i really liked the artist due to my previous post, i decided to listen to a few more of his tracks, this is one that is quite short (5 minutes rather than almost half an hr as most of them seem to be, which is more relevant to me creating a 3 minute audio clip).
It appears to be an inner monologue of a suicidal man, it contains a lot of really bizarre sounds. I got the impression it was supposed to be set in a mental hospital due to the strange sounds used combined with what seems like quite a bizarre conversation.
